Equipment setup and activation

1 How to change the language of the team?
In the main menu of the application select the option "Settings" . Then click on the language you want to activate, and touch the "OK".

2How to connect the equipment to Wi-Fi?
In the tablet menu (Operating System) click on "Settings" , in the "Wireless and networks" section you will find the "Wi-Fi" option

3How to change the date and time?
In the tablet menu (Operating System) click on "Settings" , in the "System" section you will find the "Date and Time" option.

4How to configure VCI connection mode?
From the main menu of the application select the option "VCI connection" . Then click on the option you prefer "Bluetooth" or "USB" .
- Bluetooth connection: Activate bluetooth, and click on the device you want to connect to.
- USB connection: Plug the USB cable into the tablet and the other end into the VCI.


5 How to modify user data?
In the main menu of the application select the option "Settings" . Then click on the "User Information" option. Tap the "Edit" button, and make the appropriate changes. To finish, click on the "Save" button

Updates

1How to update the FCAR application?
From the main menu of the application select the option "Update" . In the "Application" section click on "Update".
If the button is disabled it could be for some of the following reasons:
- The equipment is updated.
- The equipment is not connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- The equipment does not have an active license.
- The equipment has expired license.


2How to update the VCI?
From the main menu of the application select the option "Update" . In the "VCI Module" section click on "Update".
If the button is disabled it could be for any of the following reasons:
- The equipment is updated.
- The machine is not connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- The equipment does not have an active license.
- The equipment has expired license.


3 How to update the brands?
From the main menu of the application, select the option "Update" . In the "Vehicle Database" section, click "Update".
If the button is disabled, it could be for any of the following reasons:
- The equipment is updated.
- The machine is not connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- The equipment does not have an active license.
- The computer has expired the license.


Reports and report history

1 How can I send a report?
To send a report when you are diagnosing a vehicle, just click on the envelope icon, located in the top bar. Then you must complete the requested information. The title, description, year and contact fields are required. Once completed you can Save, or Send directly.

You can view the reports sent and / or saved in "Feedback" located in the "Data Management" section.


2How to see the recordings of tests carried out?
From the main menu of the application select the option "Data Management" . Then select the "Data Review" option . Choose the test you want to view from the list.

3 How can I see the reports made?
From the main menu of the application select the option "Data Management" . Then select the "Dataset" option. Choose the report you want to view.

4 How can I see the history of Reports?
From the main menu of the application select the option "Data Management" . Then select the "Feedback" option. In this section you can edit the report and send it.

Technical tools

1 Dictionary
En el menú principal de la aplicación selecciona la opción "Referencia". Luego pulsa sobre "Diccionario". En la parte superior hay un buscador para realizar búsquedas concretas.

2 Fault Codes / Error Codes
From the main menu of the application select the "Reference" option. Then click on "Fault Code" . At the top is a search engine to carry out specific searches.

3Detect Toolbox
From the main menu of the application select the option "Detect Toolbox" . Then click on "Pin Detect" . If the Diagnosis connector has power, pin 16 should indicate 12V.

4How can I capture the screen?
In all sections of the application there is a sidebar on the right side. In that bar there is an scissors icon. If you click on it, you will capture what you are seeing at that particular moment.

From the main menu of the application select the "Reference" option. Then click on "Manual" .

From the main menu of the application select the "Reference" option. Then click on "Video" . The FCAR YouTube channel will be loaded.
